Analog Art Photography

Analog Art Photography is a new centre for analogue, contemporary and post-digital photography in Leipzig, Germany. The founders Thomas Hankel & Roman Walczyna, both professional photographers, believe that the time is ripe to offer contemporary analogue photography to the art market in an institutionalised way and in excellent quality.

LE.RAD's mission is to provide top products, top service and top performance to people who love cycling. With the ultimate top brand: TREK. They want to revive the spirit of this innovation factory, which Lance Amstrong relied on, here in Leipzig's Pittlerwerke. According to their philosophy: Leipzig is better with bikes.

Len Koester

Len Köster works both with intermedia installations and performative sculptural elements. Proximity and distance, disruption and connection are themes that are narrated in Köster's work through different approaches and processes.

Shitela Abdel Ghani

Abdel Ghani's large-format paintings seem to breathe, to pulsate, to live. "I always paint in series, I always work in parallel," she says. The arrangement of the spontaneous series has a performative character, also because the paintings correspond with her sculptures and installations. Shitela Maria Biallas Abdel Ghani has been working in her studio in the Pittlerwerke since 2022.

Jakob Ripp

Jakob's workshop at Pittlerwerke is a space for planning and designing. A small team of architects, engineers and programmers have been working on a 4m x 2m drawing machine at weekends since last summer. A modular machine that draws while Jakob is away. It provides a translation from our digital world back into a simple drawing with pen on paper; with ink on fabric; or acrylic on window glass.

Sebastian Weber Dance Companie

The e7 Group consists of seven companies with 30 specialised engineers and technicians. The team is constantly being expanded with additional certified partners. The E7 Group advises, trains and plans all aspects of energy at Pittlerwerke!

The 1KOMMA5° Group is an up-and-coming company throughout Europe for the installation of CO2-neutral energy systems for private customers, in particular solar systems, heat pumps, energy storage systems, wallboxes and energy management.

Julius Forster

Actor and musician Julius Forster works regularly in a rehearsal room at Pittlerwerke. With his band Hotel Rimini, he also works on German music, in which electric guitar, double bass and drums mix with cello and violin, piano and acoustic guitar meet effects units, horn and Casio.

Parea

PAREA opened its new coffee roastery with café in Leipzig's Pittlerwerke at the end of May 2024. PAREA is Greek and stands for "circle of friends" or "community". You are cordially invited to the upcoming tastings, roasting tours and after-work evenings.

Zimmerei | Holzbau Felix Böhm

Felix is a trained carpenter. Seven years ago, he completed his master's degree and founded his own company. He has now been working at Pittlerwerke for almost 6 years. Most of the time he can be found on the roofs of the old factory buildings, which he renovates and restores. Thanks to his close collaboration with the architects, engineers and other trades on the site, he is also constantly involved in the development and realisation of other projects.

Herbst Freitag

The two designers came to Pittlerwerke with their workshop in 2021. Behind the blue garage doors, they create and manufacture minimalist designs from steel. Their objects can be integrated into almost any room and their design blurs the conventional contours between space and interior.

Stefan Schwarzer

We are excited to welcome Stefan Schwarzer to the pittlerwerke family at the end of the summer. The talented artist, known for his expressive paintings and innovative sculptures, will enrich our community.
