Experience industrial history in Leipzig Wahren on Open Monument Day
We are opening the gates and doors of the old industrial monument and would like to provide an insight into the more than 120-year history of the old building. From its origins and construction, its technologically and architecturally revolutionary features, the pre-war years and during the Second World War, to its dissolution through expropriation, its reintegration into the GDR economy and the upheaval after reunification.

On 14 September, Open Monument Day, we invite you to a historical tour behind the facades of the former machine tool factory in Leipzig.

The historical tours take place at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 and last around 45 minutes. A booking for the guided tour is mandatory for participation.
The guided tours can be booked from 14 July 2025.
